This hotel is quintessential San Francisco.  I stayed here three nights on business in a Queen Junior Suite.  I knew exactly what to expect and was not disappointed.  First of all, the staff are outstanding.  I've traveled a lot for work and the last time I had such hospitality was at a boutique hotel in Novara, Italy.

Staff at front desk were very nice. My room was 309 in the corner of the building with a view of Sutter Street. Cute Victorian style room with lots of great little details. The room had a high queen 4 post canopy bed... Haven't slept under one of those since I was a little kid. I felt like a queen!

I typically stay in nicer modern places but given the general costs in SF being much higher, wanted to minimize costs as much as possible and came across this.  The price was great and it had a historical feel to it which was actual pleasant for me.  I loved seeing the details in this building and my room, similar to looking at all the other housing in SF.   The location is in Japantown which is also great as it's very centralized in SF.

Talk about a Wedding on a Budget!  With 3 weeks till our City Hall wedding, dozens of people traveling from all over Southern California, it was crunch time to the T! I found this hidden gem online and Justin responded to my SOS immediately. I was completely lost and with Justin being a part of over 7 weddings and in charge of planning over 35, he made this experience so easy for us. I can go on and on but if you're looking for a location that shows the beauty and charm of that San Francisco history, (whether on a budget or not,) the food was very delicious, the staff super personable and friendly, the draft and bar selection was very good and the pictures online of Hotel Majestic really doesn't show how beautiful this place really is. 

We are so very thankful for Justin and his amazing staff for making our special day so unforgettable!

Beautiful hidden gem, I almost don't want anyone to find out about. The decor is beautiful and the food was delicious. We held a baby shower at the venue and it was perfect. Justin and his staff was very easy to work with the entire time and they made sure we got exactly was we wanted. The pricing was very reasonable and we were so surprised by how good the food was! We had a buffet style menu that pleased every guest. I would highly recommend majestic cafe to anyone looking to work with an easy and helpful staff during the planning process and a perfectly executed event.

Hosted my 30th birthday party here -- and loved every minute of it. Justin and his team are very fun and easy to work with. From our first point of contact to the last -- he was on it and keen on ensuring we had a good time. They cared about our event as though it were their own. I highly recommend them for any event, birthday, baby shower, small wedding reception -- they are awesome.
