Where
to eat?? So many restaurants, so little
time!!
Because San Francisco is
one of the great dining destinations of
the world, we are often asked for restaurant
recommendations. There are many great restaurants
in our neighborhood, and throughout
the city. We offer several resources for
informative and reliable recommendations. |
The
Zagat Guide is a tremendous resource. Year
after year, their writers revisit and update
the dining scene in San Francisco. Two other
great sites to check out are SFGate from
the San Francisco Chronicle
& City
Search.
If you would like to book
a table on line thirty-days prior to your
visit, visit OpenTable.
Many of the city's finest restaurants have
space available on line. |

Arts
There are so many things
to do in San Francisco. Conde Nast Traveler
Magazine's readers have named San Francisco
their favorite destination several years
in a row. It is no wonder. Listed below
are several reasons why. Click on the individual
sites to find out a lot more information. |

Shopping
on Fillmore Street
The Fillmore District is
three blocks west of the Hotel Majestic.
It has changed quite a lot in the last
ten years but still has a dry cleaner,
shoe repairs, corner market, and yes, quite
a few places to have coffee and bagels.
We won't be mentioning them, however.
The neighborhood runs from
Jackson Street on the north end down past
Geary Blvd. on the south. There is every
kind of furniture, bed and bath, clothing
and dining emporium you can imagine. It's
a short walk from The Majestic and it can
take you hours if you let yourself be drawn
into each shop
on Fillmore Street. You will
come away with a full and happy stomach and
many shopping bags. Have fun!! |
